Why is whatonomy?

Hello, my name is Whatonomy and I teach primary (and sometimes secondary when the wind takes me). I blog about teaching and learning. I'm really interested in improving writing and promoting reading. Generally I like to throw in my pennyworth on education policy, but mostly in a sarcastic and puerile way. It's the only way I know.
